Organize your child's room
Children need a quiet place to calm themselves down at the end of a
busy day. Organize your child's room and then encourage them to help
you keep it that way. If there is less clutter for distraction, you
will find that it is easier to get them to settle down during bedtime
- or anytime they need a break.
Make sure you get your kids in on the action when you organize their
bedroom. Have them help you so that they understand how you expect
their room to look. This way, when you assign them chores in order to
keep their bedrooms clean, they will know exactly what to do.
